Decades of neglect in oil-producing areas have left many communities without basic amenities. KHCDT is addressing this deficit by delivering infrastructure projects that include road construction, water supply systems, solar-powered lighting, drainage channels, and town halls. These projects are designed not only to improve physical living conditions but also to stimulate local economies, enhance safety, and promote community cohesion. To bridge decades of infrastructure neglect, KHCDT implement projects aimed at improving physical access, connectivity, and living conditions. These include roads, culverts, boreholes, town halls, and solar-powered water and electricity systems contributing directly to improved mobility, sanitation, and community cohesion.

Our Detailed Interventions:

- Roadworks & Bridges: KEFFESO HCDT commissioned a 10 km tarred road into Koluama 1 and 2, Ezetu 1 and 2, Foropa, communities that we literally isolated out of access to the main society due to bad road.

- Water, Sanitation, & Power Solutions KEFFESO now enjoys brand new quality infrastructure like boreholes and solar-powered water schemes, sanitation projects, addressing critical public utilities amidst several others.

- Community Halls and Centers: Construction or renovation of town halls for social and administrative use. Town halls and community centers are prioritized to facilitate gatherings, local governance, and events.

- Sanitation Projects: Public toilets, drainage clearing, and waste disposal infrastructure.
